TCM SKIN CARE PRODUCTS
This skin care utilizes unique formulas rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, specifically designed to nourish and moisturize the skin. The system includes a month long herbal facial kit that builds yin and helps skin come back into balance. The kit uses over 14 Traditional Chinese Herbs as well as nine organic oils.
This facial system is to be used morning and night (and ideally even during the day). It is a month-long facial program and I recommend using only clean products during this month. Generally avoid products that have preservatives and fragrances as these chemicals tax the skin. You can find out more about the quality of your cosmetics at https://www.ewg.org/
During this system it is also ideal to avoid wearing heavy makeup such as foundation and powders that leach moisture out of the skin. Due to the absence of preservatives the products in the kit are only shelf stable for 1-2 months. This system is meant to be used daily for one month for best results.
If you do wear makeup during the day you can use a very gentle cleanser at night. Find a food grade product without any harsh ingredients, as it disrupts the skin's acid mantle. This is one I recommend:
The Ultimate 4-in-1 Vegan Skin Cleanser | Luxe Beauty
I also recommend wearing mineral sunscreen during the day (and ideally a wide brimmed hat on sunny days). This is one one I recommend:
Brightening Vitamin C BB Beauty Balm Sheer Tint SPF 30– Andalou Naturals US
